Prof. Kakhaber Kashibadze graduated from the Tbilisi State Medical University and completed his clinical residency at the National Sepsis Center and the Bokhua Vascular Surgery Center in Georgia. In 2015, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University elected him as a Professor of the Department of Clinical Therapy. He has completed an internship in transplantology at the following hospitals: Belarus Center for Organ and Tissue Transplantation, Department of Liver Diseases and Transplantation at Izmir Kent Hospital, Medanta Hospital Base of Indian Institute of Tissue and Organ Transplantation. Under the leadership of Kakhaber Kashibadze, the first successful Living Donor Liver Transplantation was performed in Georgia. He is the author of more than 50 scientific works.
