The practice of Prof. Giuseppe Malleo encompasses surgical oncology with a special interest in pancreatic cancer, periampullary cancers, pancreatic cysts, and neuroendocrine tumors. Clinical and translational research activities are focused on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, genomics of uncommon pancreatic neoplasms, and risk assessment/benchmarking in pancreatic surgery. Prof. Malleo is the author of more than 290 full-text papers in peer-reviewed journals, with an H-index of 57. He served as the secretary of the Italian Association of Pancreatology (2019-2022) and is currently the deputy chair of the Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (EAHPBA) scientific committee.
