Prof. Barauskas has been a Course Director for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd EDS Surgical Skills Course in Kaunas, Lithuania. He holds the Honorary Diploma of The European Board of Surgery (EBS) Qualification in Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Surgery (2017). He is the holder of the LITHUANIAN SCIENCE PRIZE 2019 in the field of biomedicine and agricultural sciences, awarded for the cycle of works ‘Investigation into Molecular Mechanisms of Pancreatic Inflammatory and Tumour Diseases. Optimization of Diagnostic and Treatment Methods.
