Professor Gloor is a professor of gastrointestinal surgery at the university hospital in Bern, where he began his clinical work in 1998. After medical school at the university in Zürich, he was trained in Switzerland and started his research work at UC Los Angeles in 1996. He is head of the surgical pancreatic program in Bern, and his main focus is surgical oncology in pancreatic and gastric cancer and peritoneal carcinomatosis.
