Prof. Sophia Adamia, Ph.D. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA

Dr. Sophia Adamia is the Scientific Director of CMCF (Cellular Therapy laboratory) at the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Center, a Member of the faculty, an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School (HMS), and a Full Professor (non-voting) at the Ilia State University Medical School. She is also a Cancer Genetics Research Program member at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center (DF/HCC). Dr. Adamia serves as a member of the DFCI Ethics Consultation Service committee. Dr. Adamia received her Ph.D. in oncology at the Cross Cancer Institute and University of Alberta Medical School, Canada, and completed postdoctoral training in hematology/oncology at the DFCI/HMS. Prof. Adamia has a long-standing experience in oncology research and is a member of several academic societies and the editorial boards of several highly ranked scientific journals.
